Connect HubSpot to Adalyst

Connect HubSpot to Adalyst for contacts, companies, deals, pipeline stages, attribution and revenue analysis. Read only. Includes setup, permissions and disconnection.

Updated

Adalyst connects to HubSpot through HubSpot's official sign-in with read-only permissions. It reads contacts, companies, deals and related activity to show which campaigns produced pipeline and revenue, and never creates, edits or deletes anything in HubSpot.

Before you begin

  • You are a workspace admin in Adalyst. Only admins can connect, disconnect or switch accounts on.
  • Your HubSpot user can install apps: a Super Admin, or a user with App Marketplace Access.
  • Adalyst connects through HubSpot's sign-in, so there are no API keys to copy. Approving it adds Adalyst to HubSpot's Connected Apps.

How to connect

  1. Open Connections

In Adalyst, open Settings, then Connections, and find HubSpot under CRM.

  2. Choose Connect

You are taken to HubSpot. If your user belongs to more than one HubSpot account, HubSpot asks which one to connect.

  3. Review and grant access

HubSpot shows the read-only permissions Adalyst requests: contacts, companies, deals, owners, lists, calls, emails, meetings and notes. Grant access to continue.

  4. Confirm the connection

HubSpot returns you to Connections, where the HubSpot card shows Connected. The first sync starts straight away and your CRM data is included from your next briefing.

  5. Review Mapping

Open Settings, then Mapping, to confirm which HubSpot deal stages count as open, won or lost, and how lifecycle stages are read.

Questions

What does Adalyst read from HubSpot?

Contacts (from the last 365 days), companies, all deals and their pipelines and stages, owners, lists, associations between records, and activity: calls, meetings, email subject lines and note text. This is what lets Adalyst connect advertising to pipeline and closed revenue.

What does Adalyst never do in HubSpot?

It never creates, edits or deletes anything. Every permission it requests is read only. It does not read email bodies, tickets or marketing assets.

How is my HubSpot data protected?

Access tokens are encrypted at rest, and data from HubSpot is kept within your workspace and never shared with other customers.

How do I disconnect HubSpot?

In Adalyst, open Settings, then Connections, and choose Disconnect on the HubSpot card. Adalyst stops reading from HubSpot and removes its stored access token. Data already synced stays in your workspace. You can also uninstall Adalyst in HubSpot under Settings, Integrations, Connected Apps; Adalyst then shows HubSpot as needing reconnection the next time it tries to sync.

Troubleshooting

The HubSpot card shows an expired or error state
Choose Connect again to reauthorise. This refreshes access without losing history.
HubSpot does not offer the account I expected
Check that your HubSpot user belongs to that account and is allowed to install apps.
